51 Jun 18 Reply Thanks, Phill. I looked at both, but as it turned out I didn't need to get either one for the purpose of flipping. A search for info on Snapseed informed me that I can flip images with the "rotate" tool. I'm a slow learner... Jun 5th
51 Jun 18 Reply Thanks, Dave. I think the horizon line may look too high because the dark lower section visually connects with the black page. I suppose I should have added a border to contain the image. But, at the end of the day, it is just personal perspective and I appreciate your feedback. Jun 5th
51 Jun 18 Comment Interesting use of the apps. My limited experience with iColorama did produce some interesting images, but I stopped using it. I think it is overly complicated (for me anyway) and the results didn't fit my personal style. I think you are more of an artist than I am, and you can make it work for you. Nice creative image. The overlay works and the colors seem to fit the image.

Which app provided the horizontal flip? I occasionally want to flip an image.

51 Jun 18 Comment Mechanical marvel. The sign is a hoot. Black and white works well to highlight the shiny things that are the supposed target for the unwanted item. Fun shot. Jun 4th
51 Jun 18 Comment My first reaction was Wow! Nice scenic image. Your edits worked well. I looked at the map and this is a very long bridge across an important waterway. You have great scenery in your area.

If you wanted to darken the lower left corner a bit more, I might suggest that you use "Tune image" in Snapseed to darken the whole scene to point you want for that spot, and then use "View edits" to brush-in only that corner. Another option would be to use the healing tool to eliminate it entirely. Just some suggestions to try if you wish.

51 Jun 18 Comment Beautiful roses. You must have a talent for growing them. It's interesting that the house and shutters complement the plant. Was that intentional? Nice spring image. Jun 4th
51 Jun 18 Comment The low angle is great. The depth of field works well to draw attention to the main points of interest. The colors and tones are natural. I have to admit that I might have overdone it, so you have better self control than I do! The vertical format matches the subject. Nice spring image. Jun 4th
51 Jun 18 Comment Good fun! I like the "eggs" that add to the idea. The puddle adds the great reflection. Your edits were good, too. Nicely staged scene. Jun 4th
