Thanks, Sol. Your reply made me smile because I understand what you mean, and that is exactly what I was trying to represent. I also posted a mono version to my reply to Phill. |

I did a mono version and I like it, but I decided to post the more colorful version here. Regarding the words: I was advised many years ago that the viewer's eye is always drawn to any text in a photo. So having sharp readable text was not a goal. I had hoped that having lots of random text that wasn't exactly clear would reduce that effect. I may have judged the situation incorrectly. Glad you like the shot, though. Thanks for the feedback. |

I hadn't noticed the position of the horizon until I read your description. I think that's because the very dark foreground weights the image and the person draws my eye. So overall it's the great colors and the pleasant scene that make for a good shot. |

Nice atmosphere and warm neutral colors. The composition focuses on the darker trunk, I think. Without a mattress or a person on the bed, that works. Good rustic scene. |

I also like the mono version best. The story is outside the windows. I don't mind the slight keystone effect. I think it adds to the mystery and the tension: "What is going on in that house across the street...?" It's almost cinematic for me. |

Wow. Another nice image. Nice macro. Thanks for the explanation of the process. I will have to look into Leonardo. |

This is a fun image. The old truck on some rickety old boards and the newer truck on pavement. The large tree on the left contains the scene. The bright yellow draws my eye. Neat and well seen. |
