Thanks, Lynne. Here's a bit more of the story: This is the local mountain stream as it flows out to the plains. During spring runoff this area has minor flooding and fast moving water. In fact, where I was standing when I took this photo will be under a bit of water in April and May. So the erosion takes place in a relatively short time. Hope that adds a little background to the subject. |

I too have been surprised how much different images can look when printed. I think one gets so familiar with the image on-screen that one may miss something obvious that reveals itself in the printed version. I don't know why that is, but it does happen. |

Please see my reply to Phill above. I don't have ProHDR so I will have to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Maybe it is because I am still on an old iPhone that hasn't been updated to the latest IOS version, but the HDR functions in the native camera and Vivid HDR don't seem to do much. In fact, today I shot the same scene in native camera, native camera HDR, and all the different settings in Vivid HDR. It is difficult to see any difference in the six exposures. Maybe it's operator error. Generally, I get more impact from Snapseed's HDR. |

I suppose it isn't easy to understand what the object is, so this is an abstract in some ways. I probably wouldn't have noticed the situation and would have missed it. Nice. |

Another creative idea and edit. You do come up with such interesting images. I think the originals are good, too. Nice work. |

Nice shot. Black and white work well in this context. I like the staining and chips on the edges of the keys making them look well-used. I think it may be part of a memory for all of us. I wonder if it needs a little more contrast. |

The original has nice light and color. I guess it was a late afternoon shot. I suppose it might be a little busy and doesn't offer a central point of interest, but then most of my shots are like that. While I appreciate the effort you put into the final edit, I can't say it rings my chimes. As I mentioned on Sol's image, I'm probably too traditional. |

Interesting app that I had not heard about, so thanks for introducing it. Maybe I am too traditional, but I think the app would work better on an architectural subject. For me it is a little too abstract to have graffiti applied to a broad landscape, plus it overwhelms the background. The original pano is nice. Nice foreground, middle and distance. |

Nice winter scene. It does look cold. It's interesting that this native camera image presents the snow as white (plus gray in the shadows). Cameras in the past have tended to present the snow as blue which has to be corrected in post. Nice winter landscape shot. |
