Lots of compelling detail in this dahlia image and with a contrasting purple center! Both images look similar to me, but I prefer the submitted one with the Levels adjustment. The spots on the petals can be removed in PS, but I am more distracted by the small bright areas around the edge of the flower. Again, these are easily removable. |

This is a well-composed shot - your burst mode paid off! The hang glider on a diagonal adds a touch of action - it looks like he's tilting right to avoid the rocks. I also like the vibrant color palette of blue sky, red fabric and green vegetation. Nice job! |

Peter, I like the IR effect - it gives an American Southwestern feel to the image even though the scene is in Delaware! I agree that it should be cropped just a bit from the right to eliminate the distracting elements. |

Donna, this is a soothing Fall image - well-done. Using a mask to restore original image detail to the tree trunks makes them stand out from the background and adds depth to the scene. I do agree with Doug, however, that the left half of the image could stand on its own as a nice vertical. |
