The reflected images were mostly glass spires from areas of the PPG building behind me. |

I agree that the shape of the riverbank tree and its reflection are the essence of this image, and that the riverbank itself should be made less distracting by selectively toning it down. In terms of cropping, I feel that the entire tree and reflection should remain in the scene. However, the tree at left tends to compete for the viewer's attention and slight cropping here might reduce its influence. |

A well-done "zoom twist"! It's not easy to get just the right mix of swirly lines and sharply focused flowers in one exposure. I agree with Meredith that the submitted image is an improvement over the original because an overly bright patch of flowers at top right has been toned down. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a slight bit of contrast to increase definition of the swirls and individual flowers. |

The 4 zebras together form a strong subject in this image. Their somewhat varied poses (particularly zebra #2!) add interest to the scene. In terms of color hue, I feel that the photo is slightly on the cool side and lacks sufficient color saturation. Try increasing vibrance and possibly color temperature (just a bit!). |

This is a peaceful scenic showing the advance of spring in the mountains. The tree is well-placed in the scene and the colors are vibrant, but the image lacks sufficient contrast. This can be remedied by increasing Contrast or Clarity in Lightroom (under the Basic settings). Moreover, the sky is blown out in the upper lefthand corner and, overall, takes up too much space in the scene. Cropping down one-third from the top will remove the blown-out area and yield a more panoramic format, making for a stronger composition. |
