The flower is well lighted and appears vividly against the dark background. I also like the vibrant colors, and I think the paint program helped here. I would like to see a larger version of this image to better appreciate the details in the flower. |

This is a well-composed and processed floral image full of sharp interesting detail. And a wilted flower can make just as captivating a subject as its fresh counterpart! My one suggestion for improvement would be to make the background a bit darker to emphasize the flower and increase its impact. |

A well-done capture considering that it was a 4-second exposure taken without a tripod! St. Peter's dome and areas under the bridge are nicely exposed. I agree, however, that the bridge railing is blown out. Toning this (and the light above the stairs at right) down in Photoshop may improve the image. |

I think this succeeds as a realistic "flood" scene! The water reflects the background buildings and is faithful to their color palette. For heightened realism you might consider going even further by adding items to the flooded foreground, such as half-submerged cars or even someone in a boat! |

I feel the bullseye approach works well here - perhaps because the flower fills the entire frame? The inner orange petals (the real "subject" here) are sharp throughout. The color palette has a limited range, but is harmonious, revealing many hues between yellow and orange. Well-done! |

This is a well-exposed, scenic image that reveals a lot of dramatic detail along the Icelandic Coast. I feel that the rock at left is well-positioned in the scene, helps to balance the composition, and adds interest to the left half of the image. Nicely composed! |
