A flower image that is close to perfect! Proof that some flowers are just as showy from the back as front. The water drop adds to the image. Stuart's use of Topaz Sharpen enhances the image. However, the stem still has some unnatural graininess - not sure how I would remove this. But, overall, great job!! |

Great flower shot with potential! I think that the camera angle is a bit too low. Raising it would completely reveal the center of the flower which is the main subject of the image. In this image, the flower center is sharp and the center of interest. |

Well-composed image of an intricate arch nicely exposed throughout. I agree about changing leaf color to gold - it better agrees with the surrounding black-silver-white palette. And I don't agree with changing the perspective - there is no need for straightening! This is what it looks like when you stand under an arch and look up at it! Well done! |

A captivating nature abstract - every bird in this scene is sharp. It has a strong Oriental feel - it could be Mt. Fuji behind all those geese! Just curious - is this Middle Creek? It's near Lancaster County- our camera club (Delaware County Camera Club) shoots the snow geese there every year. |

Great leading lines in this one - rainbow meets road! The image is well-exposed throughout. This can be a winning image: Crop down closer to the rainbow and then just a bit from the right. Then, as I agree with Carrie, clone out the distracting yellow sign. Great capture! |

Looks like creative fun and worthwhile abstract "exploration"! I'm surprised that the 2 original images were quite similar in a single color palette, yet yielded very different, multi-hued abstracts with the transformations. |

I couldn't agree more! "Playing around" is what turned me on to Photoshop in the first place. |
