Thanks, Linda, for your feedback. I also thought the clapping girls in back added to the scene. |

Thanks, Donna, for your edits! They do help to direct attention to the dancer and away from the background. |

The rose is well-exposed with beautiful textural detail. I also like the way the complementary colors of the gradient background contrast with the yellow flower. |

Donna, the jumping Sikh is perfectly captured! His posed hands and feet, facial expression and the detailed folds in his costume all dramatize his "jump". Though not a major detraction, I find the background crowd a bit distracting. Albeit colorful, it is also sharply detailed, and some of the people are cut off by the swordsman's body. If you had shot at a sufficiently wider aperture than f8, you could have blurred this background and still frozen the action. In this image, you might consider toning down the background (by burning). |

Well-composed and well-executed for a multiple exposure! Nothing is blown out and detail is retained in the lighted trees. Towers and trees form strong leading lines into the scene. I agree that the image is a bit empty at top. You might consider trying to import an evening sky with moon, stars or nighttime clouds. |

Puerto Vallarta can be a sunny, inviting place and this travel image with its fleecy clouds in blue sky conveys that impression. However, the bright building at left draws the eye away from the leading line of the path going into the palms at right. Therefore, I feel the image would be stronger if the building at left were cropped out. |
