I like the swirly lines of the original, but the blending mode in Bliss Enchanted creates a more compelling nature abstract with red balancing blue on top of yellow. |

A well-captured shot near the peak of cheese-eating action! The orangutan's face is nicely lit and its hair is sharp. I would try to tone down (or clone out?) bright background details at upper and lower left. |

I knew this was a dahlia, having been to the Dahlia Society Show at nearby Longwood Gardens only last weekend! There is softness in some of the petals, but detail is preserved throughout. I also like the complementary color scheme of green background versus orange flower and vignette. Well-done! |

A very interesting architectural image! The reflection helps to make it a more symmetrical structure. I also agree that cropping down from the top to make more of a panorama would strengthen the image. And I can't help thinking - if there are offices in that "building", working there must be quite a disorienting experience ;-) ! |

Great action photo considering the conditions under which you were shooting! The surfer is well-posed and moving right towards the viewer. You did a good job removing noise, but I find the crashing waves at left a bit too lacking in foamy detail. You might try selective sharpening here to bring back texture. I also agree that the replacement sky used here is somewhat unrealistic, but this approach should work with a less detailed replacement sky. If you want to keep the original sky, you could simply try cropping down from the top towards the surf to create more of a letterbox format. This would make the wave appear bigger in the image. |

The colors of the costumes are very vibrant and add impact to the image! I agree that the image should be cropped on left and right as Donna showed in her edit. However, I think it would be better to simply tone down the crowd in back with the Burn Tool in Photoshop, instead of making an all black background. |
