A compelling macro capture with high impact! The pink and yellow hues are vibrant and harmonize well. The pistil shape is unusual, and the lines are flowing and organic throughout. The break in the pistil stem and blurred petal near bottom center are only minor defects. Overall, well done! |

Hi Lori, an impressive astro shot with your new camera! The Milky Way is well-positioned in the sky with respect to the foreground, and you have a good foreground (not always possible in dark sky settings). I agree that 20,000 ISO is somewhat high; I usually shoot at ISO 3200-6400 with my D750. As for the lighted cabin, I also agree that it is too bright, but instead of completely darkening it, I would just tone it down and try to change the hue to a more natural incandescent yellow color. |

Diana, well-done macro flower shot! Enough of the petals around the center are in focus to "permit" those at the edges to be blurred. I also like the yellow center which stands out against the predominantly pink color palette. |

Donna, great capture of a tundra swan with spread wings! I like the palette of muted fall sunset colors. I do find the shore in the background a bit distracting and suggest that you crop down almost to the water's edge. I'm okay with the background ducks on either side of the swan, but I do agree that you should try to sharpen the image further. I've just started working with Topaz Sharpen AI / DeNoise AI, and I am impressed with my results! |

Rich, a great travel image of this cathedral! It was fortunate that you had an image which included the cross at top, and I think Donna's straightening and cropping improved it further. I also think cropping off the cars at bottom is an additional improvement as they only distract from the main subject. Finally, great weather and a perfect sky made for a compelling image. |
