Well, I agree with the others: with its vibrant colors, this image has potential, but you need more focus! The petal edges tend to lead my eye into the flower's center where there is not enough texture detail to hold my interest. Greater depth-of-field to sharpen the center will improve the image, even if some petals (such as at upper right) remain blurred. |

Creative use of the crystal ball - especially with turning the image upside-down to make the ball image appear right-side-up! I like the texture of the pebbles at top that the ball appears to be "attached" to. I also agree with Doug that Lori's revised image is too closely cropped. I feel we need to see a bit more of the background. Well-done! |

Great scenic of Lake Louise (which is in Alberta, Canada and has been on my bucket list for years)! You did a good job of controlling excessive contrast and preserving detail in the shadows along the lakeshore. I agree with David and Donna that landscape format works better here. |
