Image is perfectly exposed, sharp and with vibrant colors. Background is completely controlled. My only quibble is with the third flower whose center is cut-off at lower right. I would either try to crop it out or reshoot and include it in the scene. Overall, tho, nice job! |

Donna, I'm glad to see you are our new Group Administrator! I was once Group 10 Admin (for some 10 years), and so Barbara asked me to suggest a replacement for John. I chose you! Good luck! |

Beautifully done!! The Milky Way background is superb - richly detailed with no distracting lights on the horizon. The composite is perfect - it looks like the Milky Way is streaming right out of your camera. Well done! |

Great capture of the sunset with vibrant colors! All features at bottom - piers, even the crane, act as leading lines taking you into the picture towards the sunset. I think the composition could be strengthened by cropping downward from the top, turning it into more of a panorama. See revised image below. In this image, I have also toned down the red sign.

Good capture, and the bird's vivid colors are not washed out in the contrasty light. I agree with Donna that the bird's left side is too much in shadow - post processing (Shadows/Highlights command in PS?) should help here. |

An attractive panorama combining the man-made with the natural! I feel that the blue in sky and buildings at top works well here, since it complements the yellow and red colors in the flowers at bottom. |

The image is sharp and colors are vibrant in the center area containing the yellow flowers. However, the cactus needles and the background are a bit too busy and distracting. So, I agree with others that the image should be cropped in toward the 4 flowers. |
