10 Feb 17 Comment This IS a great capture! The image has vivid colors and shows sharp detail in the wings. I also like seeing reflections in the water projected on the wings. My only quibble would be that the dark image background merges with the background on the web page. Adding a border to the photo would help to separate the two. Feb 15th
10 Feb 17 Comment A well-done PJ/Phototravel shot! Image is sharp with good DOF, and lines of roadway lead the viewer into the scene. The only alteration I would make would be to crop slightly up from the bottom - halfway to the rear wheel of the motorscooter. Feb 15th
10 Feb 17 Comment You woke up at just the right time for this one! You also did a good job of maintaining detail in both lit and shadow areas, and the reduced contrast of the early morning light helped here. The diffuse light in the clouds around the peak and the trees at lower right foreground are additional nice touches. However, the image is unusually small (308 x 205 pixels) - check the pixel size next time and try for 700-1000 pixels. Feb 15th
10 Feb 17 Comment A great wildlife capture with lots of detailed poses among individual animals in the herd. The colors are vibrant, but I agree with John that the image can be made more dramatic by increasing contrast and sharpness. Feb 15th
10 Feb 17 Comment A well-composed scene! Facial expressions, poses and costumes make for a compelling image. However, stream and pathway in background are tilted upward at right. Straightening the image and cropping out most of the tree at right will produce a more level but stronger image.

10 Feb 17 Comment A pleasant autumn scene with classic compositional features. Road serves as a somewhat S-shaped curve leading viewer's eye into the picture. Image is evenly lit and colors are vibrant. I, too, do not see any pixelation in the photo. I am also not bothered by the border, which helps to "burn in" the image. Feb 14th
