Overall, the image seems too dark and plain, I like what is Tom did.
I am not sure the blurred leave is what you want, or you want it sharp as other. I think you use macro lens in closer distance. the depth of field is short. If you want the leave sharp too, then you might try move camera shooting point out with farther distance, the depth of field will increase and the leave might be get in focus and sharp, then you might crop off some part you do not want.

YOUR p0sted image much improved than the original. The result is clearly divided into three layers. the most eye-catching is the lightest and farthest layer.
You did a very good post processing edit job. |

very interesting image. you captured a right moment with 1/2000 seconds to freeze the rifles on the air. Nice shot! |

Very beautiful window pattern, for this kind of photo, I would make it more symmetrical. I would try to move the candles to center and crop out the bottom and top/left a little bit. at attached copy is what I tried to do. It might not perfect, but
seems more symmetrical. |

Very nice handheld night image. The photo is very sharp, clearly shown the numbers on license plate. Handheld shooting with 1/80th second at night. You were holding the camera very stable. The Mississippi River Bridge in the background is helpful for composition of image. |
