You are right, It is dark in the shadows with burned out highlights. See attached original.
Since I used a 42.4 MP high pixel camera with good HDR.
It's easy to retrieve the details in shade area. 		Jul 17th

For me I would crop out some sky from top, the water line will move down. The subject fish nets will stand out. 		Jul 15th

speed and have my eyes focus in the racer's face. compare the color one with spectators in the stands, they are distracting me on the racer, who is major object in this image. Of course it tells the whole story.
