Lloyd, I am glad to explain how I did.
1, you need to figure out how much space you want to expand. 2, Change the canvas size on width to what you need. 3, Use Magic wand tool to select the whole expand area. 4, go to Edit-Fill-Content Aware, then click OK. It will fill up similar your right side content. The fill up might be not perfect, you need to do some work to fix it. In your case the "Content" is simple, do not need much manual work. If the content is complicated, then you will do more fixing work.

Very beautiful Himeji Castle with cherry blossoms. Great shot !
I feel the foreground is too heavy in the whole picture. Although cherry blooms are beautiful, but the left side blooms were out of focus and the Himeji Castle is a major object in this photo. So I would crop off some of foreground on lower portion. |

At my first glance, It give me a unusual impression, It looks like she is sitting on the floor. The tree is overlapped with the blue door and there is a little piece of blue door. All these are distracted me.
I would crop out on down side the narrow piece of cement(?). Remove the right side little piece of the blue door and replace the blue door color. |

The position and color are nice. The sharpness seems not enough. It might be as Rich point out the shutter speed is not high enough, but I think It seems to me the depth of field is too narrow. |

Nice shot. The bird is very sharp, this is important for bird photo. The lighting is good. For me I would made the background brighter a little bit.

Very interesting photo. So many ropes created a complex environment around the girl. It would be good If there was a chance for the girl to turn her face to camera side, but the girl was coming down, she need to watching down the steps. It is lucky, there was empty space with out ropes to show the girl's head. Your crop is very helpful.
It's a good journalism photo. |

Very nice photo taken in difficult light condition. The colors are great. Seems to me the tree is too bright, it might be the flash painting time was too long.
I think the tree is too big and located on center. I would shoot with more space on left. So the tree can be located on right side but not on center. |
