The harsh bright light brings the eye to the photo and then one notices the lighting and the feet walking away. It is a striking image which does not fit our current camera club notions. Very interesting! |

Amazing shot! I would crop out the bright flames at the top. I don't think they add. Your capture of the expression and description of the ceremony are well done!!! What a special glimpse into a foreign religious observance! |

I would also consider cropping just above the fallen flower. It would be similar in feel to some vogue images I have seen of models with an object. The flowers in the vase are stunning and the hint of the vase adds a touch of stability. Love it! |

Thanks, I entered it in the county Fair so we'll see if the judges there agree. |

My first reaction was poor horse with the bolt through its mouth. I am certainly reminded how green everything is in a wet climate. Your photo certainly is recognizing and an interesting pattern. Besides the above comments, maybe a bit more mid-tone contrast in the hitching posts, by selecting just them, would make them pop off the background. |

Absolutely stunning? I totally agree with Judith's assessment of s small fix. Flipped either way it is an amazing shot of a very fast bird! |
