The most interesting part of the image is the sky and clouds near the center. The amount of boats are a distraction. I would crop off 1/3 of the bottom and left sides. Also 1/4 from the right. |

Catching the jet trail is a plus! I like the color because of the foggy feeling. You could play with darkening the sky and brightening the foreground except the sun highlights. It is a striking Image! |

My reaction was wow! If the yellow is a problem you can tone it down , replace the color select the background and put it on its one layer with a layer of just the cyclist above it. Then fill the hocyclist hole in the background Laye with content aware fit. Now you can manipulate the background any way you like. His nose area will take a bit of work. This is no longer photo journalism but pictorial. |

I have a friend who creates photos that seem to reflect powers with human thoughts and emotions. I will show her your photo. The composition and emotional impact are fantastic! I really enjoy the colors you have chosen. The lack of sharpness and contrast makes it dreamy. I love it!

I don't know why the photo is showing up unsharp. I had originally manipulated it to look like Judiths image but then felt the early morning feel diminished. So I reduced the contrast and darkened it and I entered it, as shown above, in the camera club. It did well against some very stiff competition. I took a huge number of photos.

Lovely reseeding arches! The perspective is very well handled! I would tone down the really bright spots a bit. It needs some life. Maybe wait until someone enters or leaves or ask someone to pose and make them a bit more contrasty than the hallway. The exit sign should not be red. |

Sorry to be so late. (Husband sick, dog died, Taxes on Hiring a caregiver.) So sorry. This photo is a breath of fresh air! I like the Paul Bradley changes most.. The bright sky cropped out and the contrast of everything else enhanced. I would also crop a bit more from the left to make it balance better. That would bring the waterfall out of the center and the people more prominent. I also think It needs a bit more midtone contrast. |
