Sorry, I forgot to press submit. I prefer the color version. It has A BEAUTIFUL moving FEEL TO IT WHEREAS the black and white is static. The color is is rich as wellI would crop out the houses leaving the partial tree. I mistook the round object near the horizon as the sun and was bothered by why it was black. |

Personally I would crop this from the top leaving 1/3 of the sky. There is too much dark sky lessening the impact of the failing fencing. I really like the depth of field. I like the fencing as presented and the ocean so turbulent! Well done! |

I really like the photo travel aspect of the whole image as part of a documentary. As a travel image, I like the cropping idea but would not make it so tight on the sides. The story of modernization in the whole image and the story of the people in the second. |

What a photo! I guess my only comment would be to crop off the building on the left. Then you would need to darken the first sign on the left or rubber stamp it out.

Great photojournalism shot. I think the Topaz filter should have n=been toned down a bit . The lady's face on the right would look better if not quite so sharp. I would take the topaz layer in photoshop and gently erase the face so a bit more of the unsharpened background reduces the sharpness. The image would be a bit less square if you cropped a bit off the top. Hard to photograph! My parade shots are not so good. |
