Feels spooky with the gravestones slabs instead of concrete. I like the idea of cropping from the top but I would do even more than Rich suggested. I would take the top down so that there is 2/3 less sky than his suggestion. The steps would also go. Then the focus is on the stones. |

Again, I like the sepia feel. The brightening of the image really enhances it. (Are the tents mideveal as well?) The exuberance is well captured and the lighting adds to the long ago feel. |

I have seen images like this of Camels in sand dunes, but with children it is fantastic. I like the silhouette with and sepia sky! Well done! |

Great idea. But I feel I was distracted by so much brightness at the top and left side. I would crop thos sides. The dragonfly on the spent flower I found more interesting than the lotus bud. The dragonfly is facing the wrong way for the composition to work for me. Lots of things you could try to get the lotus to be in front of the fly, if you think it is worth the effort. |

Nice job! The placement and out of focus background really make the photo. I take a lot of great horned owl photos but can never get that close. It's a good likeness. with all those facial feathers reasonably sharp. I like your anthropromorphic title as well. |

Although the old truck on the right adds to the nostalgia, I think a more effective image would be to crop it out. The 15 cents a gallon is the shocker I am sure for those that can't remember those days. I think this tells a great story! I would burn down the edges. |
