I like the "Z" of the wildebeests. This image tells the whole story of the crossing and includes the landscape of the area, which I really like. It is not as dramatic as the image in DD67 that has all of the energy, movement and dust, but I like this image better. You captured the image at the perfect time with the lead wildebeest about to go out of the frame. That must have been a great sight to see and photograph. |

Your long exposure made the water very smooth. It is good composition with the bank in the foreground, the pier on the left and the vast open spaces on the right. Having the pier small with all of the negative space on the right has created a very nice landscape image. The sky is not very interesting and even maybe a bit of a distraction with the blur. So, I would make it more a panoramic image and crop off maybe a third to a half off the top. |

Thanks for sharing this historical location with us, that we will probably never get to visit. I like the straight on view that is very symmetrical, the the unique walkways leading to the monument. Having one person in the image, and in a good location really helps the image. Butch's VF does pop up the image, but it seems to have altered the shade of the walkways. Also, I don't think I like the mood being changed of the solemn location. |

Another great and simple flower image. You are so artistic. You made good use of this very interesting vase, and you photographed it very well. The flowers are lovely, sharp from front to back, and well arranged. The flowers leaning to the left being offset with the green bud area on the right is very nice. Maybe a different shade for the background would help but I am not sure of what color to use. |

You did a great job of capturing the hummingbird in flight. Great depth of field to have the hummingbird sharp and the background very blurry. I am not familiar with the flower, but the red area seems to have lost its details. I am glad that you found something to keep you occupied (and taking great photos) while you were eating with your husband. ` |

Nice moody image from this great natural area. I like the composition of the "v" between the mountains. The small looking trees at the top add scale. I do like what Butch did with the clouds. |

You did a good job with this iconic building. You did a very good job of scanning from film. |

Interesting ornamental grass. Going to mono improved the image and your editing to use only the right side was a good one. I like the "v" at the top. You should have left a bit more room at the top. |

You do a really nice job of photographing into the sun. I am glad that your editing got rid of the light streak in the upper left and of course opening up the shadows. I agree with Stephen that I like the darker clouds on the right in the original. I did not like the tilt of the power pole and straighten it and used the generative fill to fill in the corner areas that were then lost. |

Interesting casual looking pose. I like the down turned head and the eyes looking right at you. Going to mono totally changed the mode of the image, which I like. I think that you went too dark and too much contrast. I played with it and this is what I came up with. |

It is an entirely different image, and now says more to me "winter", a lot because of the sky. It is not the story of abandonment that I wanted. |

The energy shown from the water splashing is great. The contrast between the water and the dust is also good. The image is sharp from front to back. What a great sight this must have been to photograph. Your image in Group 7 is much calmer. |
