You had a beautiful sunset, but having the riders greatly improves the image (and you placed them perfectly). I like the rim of light and the light rays on the rock. You placed yourself at a great location to capture that. I agree with Ian that you should print it and put in on the wall. |

Your editing really improved the image. It is a beautiful sunset and my eye is drawn straight to the people at the water's edge. Like Stephen said, the shadow on the clouds is rare, and did catch my attention. I would not change a thing. |

I like the strong lines leading to the front center. I am not familiar with mosques, but this is a beautiful place of worship. I would say that you captured it perfectly, as the wide angle lens made it feel larger, and the exposure and lighting are great. Your f stop also has the image sharp from front to back. My only critique is that the top is not level. I used NIK Perspective Efex and Auto setting to correct it. |

Good composition with the pathway leading us to the people and the setting sun. The colors are great, and I like the crop from the original. Adding a larger sun was a great idea, and you placed it perfectly. I have no suggestions for improvement. |

The Egret is very sharp and well separated from the surrounding rocks. The Egret posed nicely, as the open mouth adds some interest. It is hard for me to see the difference that Gaetan made, without seeing them side by side. A suggestion would be to crop off some of the bottom to get rid of some of the out of focus rock. |

Interesting composition with an attractive center flower and then 2 buds pointing away from it to the right and left. The flower is sharp at the front and center, and a bit blurred at the back, but that is not a problem. The background is nicely blurred. An improvement would be to get rid of the 2 partial buds at the bottom right and left. They pull my eye from the flower. |

Thanks. The shadow is from an overhead light. |

Reversing the image was a good choice. I like the composition and the crop (it looks like the top is in the crop). The etching is a bit strong for my liking, but you are the artist. |

I like the image. I would have cropped more off the right, to get rid of the curved post. Wes's suggestion of a small white border was a good one. I would not add anything to the image. The emptiness is what makes the image, and from what you said, it is what you, the artist prefers. |

A very nice pattern image. The water looks very good, and the contrast is very good. Going to mono seems like a good choice. I am guessing that the blossoms were white with not much color. What would you think about reversing the image? |

You have a very moody and sinister image. The model was great at her pose. I like the color in the original better than original 2, as the color does not look natural and also changes the mood. I selected the model, inverted the selection and blurred the background. Then I lessened the blur on the near gate area, as a camera would have captured the area. The tree branches in the far background are more blurred. To me, that makes the backdrop look more natural. I did not darken the bottom as much. |

Not being sharp is a big problem. It looks like the water pump in front is only sharp in a couple of places so you have a depth of field problem. The out of focus machine in the background is distracting as is the glass object in front. |

I did not want a straight on shot, so took it at bit of an angle. I did not notice that the sides were not quite straight, or I would have tried to correct it. I like the steps, so that is why I was not closer. |

I like the background the way it is. If if were sharp, it would draw attention from the waterfall. And, the background is needed to show the setting. |

I now see exactly what you mean. I should have moved the back flower on the left, more to the left so that I was not behind the front flower. I wanted the out of focus back flowers to add depth. Maybe I will try again next year. |

It is very clear that this is a small waterfall on what looks like a small stream (actually you said irrigation channel). The shutter speed is interesting because the water is not frozen, nor is it totally blurred. I like the composition and would not change a thing. |

You accomplished exactly what you were trying to do -- they are super sharp and the flower petals are blurred enough not to distract from the stamens and pistils. I do like Cindy's crop and editing. |

I think that I would have put the original in the trash. But you did an excellent job of editing to make a really good image of the cute dog. The dog's eyes and nose are super sharp, and I don't see any noise from the high ISO. Your hair selection is very good, and I like the color of the background, as it complements the color around the eyes and some of the hair. It is an excellent pose of the dog, looking straight at you. I hope she got a treat. |

Very sharp flower with a great blurred background. I really like the muted colors in the background, it shows that the flower was taken in a garden. The slight bend in the stem adds some interest. I would not change a thing. |

An unusual flower that you did a really good job of photographing. I don't see any noise from the high ISO. The image is very sharp, from the front of the flower to the back. It looks like you captured it at its peak. Your editing is also excellent, and I like the tight crop. Would not change anything. |

Unusual tree to be gray, but I have never been to Puerto Rico. It does really blend in with the tree, good eye to have seen it. I would crop some more off the bottom. |
