I like my Olympus, but do not know about Sony. I do not think that Sony makes a 4/3rd camera, so do not know if it would be as small and light. |

I like Wave Splash much better than Dream World, but Dream World tells a nice story as part of a group of surfing images. Yes, as Larry said, this is a great image with lots of impact. You did a really great job of combining images, as it looks natural. The little tower in the distance for some reason is pulling on my eye, and I think that you should clone it out. |

The bright colors really catch the eye. Interesting composition with the leaf stems pointing away. I am not sure what I think about the small leafs at the top. |

I agree that going to monochrome really made the lines the main subject of the image. The colors are nice, but they are also a distraction. I like your crop. I am glad that you left the people at the top, as they give a point for the curves to go to. |

That was a great way to honor your parents memory, and I am sure it has been enjoyed by many. The image looks nice and sharp. The reflections are very good and the small waves around the duck add some "life" to the image. The leafy area at the far right is drawing my eye from the duck, and if you are not going to use it for nature, you might want to clone it out. |

Great time of the day to take this image. The starburst really makes this image. I would crop off the red light on the far left, as it is pulling my eye from the center of the image. Also, maybe clone out the red light in the distance. |

This image was not a set up, just a very lucky find. We went to the bridge to take photos of it and saw the wagon coming toward the bridge. |

I agree, I will get rid of them before I use it in competition. |

Very nice. I thing that your tones are great. I like the composition with the bright area in the center and dark around. A suggestion would be to slightly darken the edge of the sand at the bottom, for even better framing. I am glad that you went to monochrome for this, as we have seen a lot of the color versions. |

Thanks for the comments. I agree with all that you said, but I am not sure if the work to get rid of the 2 newer items are worth the effort. |

Yes, that would work for me, but don't make the clouds next to the spiral so light that you loose the separation. |

Nicely done image of this old mission with its bell tower. I like that the cross has a bit of room above it. The image has a lot of contrast and the stone work stands out. As Diana pointed out, the bottom of the tower seems a bit blow out and lacking in detail. That said, you did a really good job from a film capture. |

Isn't what these DD groups are about? Seeing our images in different ways and learning from other member comments and suggestions? And then of course one member says to crop one way, and another says to crop just the opposite. |

The color looks very bland. Going with monochrome is a very good choice. I do like what Ata did with the image, including leaving the roof in the image. |

I agree with Diana that you have too much in the image. But, I would crop off the trees at the top. That would make the photographers more important and leave the nice rocks in the foreground. |

You made a very interesting image. Thank you for sharing with us how it was made. I would clone out the upper stem from where it curves up. It seems to be pulling my eye out of the image. That would also create better balance with the bottom stem. I like the color image better. |

A very interesting image that really caught my eye. Thank you for telling us how you create it. My eye goes straight to the center of the spiral. The tower in the lower right also points to the center of the spiral. But, to me, the tower in the upper right corner distracts from the image and almost makes 2 subjects. |
