I am glad that you turned off auto ISO. I am really surprised that you could rescue the image from the original. The noise that you have from ISO 204,800 is not bad at all, and so the Nikon D780 is quite a camera for high ISO. I did use Topaz Denoise, but reduced the sharping all the way, and added some color noise reduction also. It did seem to take some of the noise out, especially on the doors. You have found an interesting subject and hope that you keep going back. |

Thank you for showing us more area as shown in the "original". I think that you have a strong image with the people in front of the background painting. Having captured the woman with her arm up is really good. It kind of makes a circular affect to keep me in the image. I am also glad that you are showing the feet of the man pushing the stroller. The exposure is really good. |

Interesting image, and I see lots of reflections in the window that he is looking out. To me the subject is the man, and to make him stand out more, I would crop some off the right side, maybe half way between the right side and the pillar. I think that would give you better composition. |

Paul, please see my reply to Rich. You are correct that I did not get the image from what I had shown as the original. |

No, that is not the original. I do not know how it got there. This is the original that I had in the folder to use. I must have been viewing the other image and the computer picked it up by mistake. |

Interesting pattern image. I think that the footprints add a lot of interest to the image and also size reference. The footprints move my eye around the image, watching where they go. Thank you for showing us a wider view of the dunes. |

The hummingbird body and head (including the eye) all look very sharp. The lighting and the red flower make this a powerful image. Too bad that the flower stem is out of focus, but that is what you get with a 400mm lens. Overall, I really like the image and would not change anything. |

Very interesting pattern image. Yes, I think that rotating it helped as it now has very good composition. It is a nice clean image with good lighting and I don't see any grain from the higher ISO. Thank you for showing this great location. |

The second version looks much better. What a great location for an image. I think that you are showing too much, and would crop off part of the left side. Half Dome is the subject here, so why not really make it show. This crop also now has a good lead in. |

Thank you for the story of this great crane. It is a dark moody image but has a great sky. Since the crane is the main subject, why not reverse the image and put the crane into a power point location on the right side. That also make the railing into a "stop" to keep the eye in the image. |

Thanks for your suggestion, but I like seeing the whole tree. If there had been an interesting area of the tree, then showing only that would have maybe been effective. |

It is really hard to tell what this is an image of. Adding a border as Russ suggests helps with an image with a black background on the website black background. It would have been a stronger image if her face had been down more. |

Really nice image with a lot of detail. I think that the high key effect is good for this white rose. I like the image as first presented, without the bottom petals. The petals bring me right into the image and the curves take my eye to the center. To me, the petals in the added image act like a block and keep me out of the image. The angle of the rose is very good and shows the layers of the petals. |

You did an excellent job of capturing this very interesting light bulb. Light bulbs are very hard to photograph because of the reflections, and you have done it very well. Monochrome is the way to go, and I like the centered straight on bulb as you presented it as your main image. It makes a statement. |

What a great composite. Very well done, it looks like you took it all at once. The meerkats image itself is very nice with good detail an lighting. Reversing the meerkats was a good idea. The final color image seems a bit dark on my monitor, or I would like it almost as much as the mono. The meerkats look better to me in the first original. That said, the orange wall in the color image is to bright and draws interest from the meerkats, making the mono image my choice. |
