Your friend had an excellent suggestion. Now the bird looks like it is moving in on a flower, and the white area that I did not like is gone. |

For cropping in so much the image is still sharp and without too much noise. The trees in the foreground make the image have a lot of depth. The lighting is good. You need to go back this fall and take some images with a longer lens and fall colors in the leaves. You have made a good find. |

I like the image that is shown as the main image the best. I think that the splash in the image shown as "original" is over powering. I like the tones that look like sunset or sunrise and that there is some blue left in the water. The harsh lighting also shows that it was taken at sunset or sunrise. You captured a splash at perfect time and the silky rest of the water is very good. |

Very interesting, spooky image that is just in time for Halloween! The colors also say Fall and Halloween. The composition is very good and the mixture of color and gray is great. I would not change a thing. |

Really great image with the Golden Gate bridge and the space shuttle airplane in a good position for composition. Thanks for sharing the historical moment. |

Really nice image of the bird in flight and the flowers. You did a good job of combining the images. The bird is really sharp. I like the blurred background and the composition is good with the bird in a power point. I small suggestion would be to make the white area above the bird to be yellow like the area below the bird. That would make the white on the bird to be the brightest area in the image. |

Very interesting image. I really like the texture. Very good photo eye to have seen this. I think that the word above the figure draws my eye from him. I would crop off the top to just below the word. |

Really great image of the attractive young woman and the vase. You did a really good job of converting to mono and I especially like that you got rid of the highlights on her face. The eye contact is good for this image. What if you cropped off the part of her hand at the very bottom of the image, but left her fingers holding the vase? I think that is the part of hand that is a distraction and not the fingers. |

His face is pretty natural tone if you notice. It might look yelowish because of all of the wood tones. Yes, looking at it I should have blurred the background. Thanks for all of your comments |

Interesting pattern shot of ropes. They are well placed and well lighted. I am glad that you darkened the white rope at the front, as it improves the image quite a bit. |

Interesting subject and story. I thing that the crop is great and the conversion to mono was good. I agree that more separation for the head would be good, but I am not sure how to best do it. |

The sky tone looks good to me. The wires did not bother me until I read Stephen's comments, and then agree that they should be removed. I was in Bode several years ago, and it is sure an interesting place. I do like what Stephen did with the image and also his explanation of how he did it. The bottles in the window caught my attention right away and the detail helps the image. I would not bother with adding anything to the bottom. |

Really nice image and the choice to go with mono is a good one, and you did a good job of cleaning up the background. As to eye contact, I think that it is better without it. Without eye contact to me, she shows that she is there for a reason, other than to have her photo taken. I like the reflection and wish that you had left more of it. |

I like what Stephen said, and think that the detail on the edge of the paper really adds to the image. High contrast is helpful with this image. |
