3 Apr 20 Comment Great image that really caught my attention. The image is very sharp on the man and canoe and a great blurred background. Your editing is also very good. Apr 4th

7 Apr 20 Reply I like the yellow that you added. Apr 13th
7 Apr 20 Comment As pointed out, you should straighten the horizon. If you had more area to the right of the fence, then it would not seem like the fence is blocking in the viewer so much. You did do a good job of editing the image. Apr 11th
7 Apr 20 Comment Quite an impressive image. I really like the galaxy in the sky. I do like the color image better. Looking at it more closely, I would say that the water falling down is not a water fall, but could be the wave seen is splashing over the wall area. Maybe if you made the wave bigger and extended the water up a bit higher, then it would look more like the wave broke over the wall. Apr 11th
7 Apr 20 Comment It should do well as a "wall" image. You found a good image. I agree that you should make the one way sign black and white and not grey. I would crop off the purple area at the bottom, as my eye is drawn down to it. Apr 11th
7 Apr 20 Comment Really nice portrait of the very pretty woman. The lighting is great and I like all of the detail in the hair. The blurred background is very good, and I think that you cropped it just right. And thank you for the story of the image. Apr 11th
7 Apr 20 Comment Interesting light. You did a good job of capturing what must have been contrasty light. I would blur the background more, to make the light stand out more. Apr 11th
7 Apr 20 Reply The ship (Carnival Vista)that we were on in late February is on the CDC list of ships that had people that were infected that had been on a cruise. The cruise that we were on is not on the list, but the cruises both before and after are. I guess that we picked the right week to be on a cruise. Apr 9th
7 Apr 20 Reply It is not a great image, I was just trying to show the power of an S curve in an image. Apr 8th
7 Apr 20 Reply It is being pulled behind the boat, mostly blue with some people on it. It is hard to see the rope. It is the only other object in the water besides the boat. Apr 7th

7 Apr 20 Comment I would say that you captured spring very well. The colors are great and the reflections add to the image, as do the 2 mergansers. I don't think that I would change a thing. Apr 5th

32 Apr 20 Reply No wonder that you have a bit of noise. You really cropped in, and yet the image is very sharp. Apr 19th
32 Apr 20 Comment Very sharp image, and the wine glass really sparkles in the mono version much more than the color. I think that you have good balance, with the bottle in the middle and the cheese and glass beside it. I really am not worried about the full knife and cutting board. One thing that I would do is to get rid of the sparkles from the wine glass that are below the glass. In the color image, you can see that it is a reflection, but as I don't see any of the reflection except for the white spots, I would get rid of them. Apr 12th
32 Apr 20 Comment Good, sharp image. I think that you have enough contrast. When I tried to bring up the contrast a bit, I can see what you say about the bringing out the noise. You could use some software to get rid of some of the noise, and then bring up the contrast if you wanted to. I have found that Lightroom has a good noise reduction ability. That being said, it is a good image as presented. Apr 11th
32 Apr 20 Reply Thank you for that thought, as I had not thought about the silos that way. Apr 5th
32 Apr 20 Comment An interesting image, and I like the monochrome better. The people standing around add a lot to the image. I would crop off from the left to get rid of the dark area in the corner and the moving woman. To me, that would make the woman standing and looking at the train a point of interest. And I do agree with Stephen that I can not tell by looking at the image that it was taken in a cafe, if that is what you wanted. Apr 4th
32 Apr 20 Comment I had not really noticed them until you did, but the light bulbs are too bright. I image that it had a smell, and not a good place to go before dinner. That being said, I think that it is an interesting image with all the people working, and the one woman in front makes a good point of interest. Apr 4th
32 Apr 20 Comment I like the color better, because to me, the monochrome just looks too jumbled together to see what is between the 2 arches. Good luck with your camera. Stephen's image was an improvement. Apr 4th
32 Apr 20 Comment I do like the monochrome better, as it adds to the starkness. I also think that you have enough motion in the cars, as you can see that they are moving, but still see clearly what they are. I reversed the image, and I think that it gives you a better lead-in for your composition, and now the people are much more prominent. Apr 4th
32 Apr 20 Comment The area is a very pretty part of the country. You are fortunate to be so close. Thanks for your comment about the silos. Apr 1st

33 Apr 20 Comment You picked a really great point to photograph the old buildings because the downed fence seems to "cradle" the buildings. Apr 4th

36 Apr 20 Comment You made the old cabin come back to life! I have been there and taken images, but they are really only snapshots. Your hard work paid off. Apr 4th

82 Apr 20 Comment The leg against the mud makes for a really good contrast. I would clone out the red can (and darken the tail light) as its brightness keeps wanting to draw my eye from the leg. Apr 4th
