To me, the yellow and orange buildings at the end are where my eye goes, and so to me, that is the center of interest. |

Tony, your color looks much better than mine. I used a color that would standout as an example. |

Well, one member wants the paint cleaned up, and another wants more paint chips. I was using f8 as I was walking around taking photos and f8 is a good point for lens sharpness. Since I was out with son and daughter-in-law, I was not taking a lot of time on any one image. |

Wow, you did improve the colors a saturation a lot. Getting rid of the dark tree and you say automobile is going to be a problem. Maybe someone else, like Tony will have a suggestion. I would suggesting cropping off some of the road way from the bottom, maybe back almost to the start of the walls. I think that would bring you more into the main area of the images. The image is sharp from front to back. |

They all look sharp and well exposed. The one that I like the best is the one shown as the main image. It shows the young woman with a lot of action, lots of water splashing and frothy water at the bottom. You also have her face in the image. Original 2 has a lot of action, but is going away from you. Original 1 has the person looking kind of strange. |

Very interesting image -- looks like it was not taken on Earth! I would say that your early morning was rewarded. What is the bright yellow-orange area in the lower right corner? |

All of the images are good, but to comment on the main image, you caught the action with the flame being pretty full, and your exposure shows the flame. I like the composition and being able to what is going on around the main balloon. One small thing that I see is the orange cone that is below the black area on the balloon. It attracts my eye and would be easy to get rid of. |

I agree that the bird on the left looks like it is falling from the tree. You caught the action for sure, and it is sharp. It looks like the bird on the left is caught between some branches, and it is really looking at the other bird. I don't see any adjustments to be made, for this good nature image. |

Great jog of capturing this difficult lighting situation. I like the composition and that it looks sharp from front to back. There does not appear to be any noise, even at the 2500 ISO. The person is not that obvious in the image, probably because of his clothing colors. If you changed his shirt color, like I did (in a quick, sloppy way) then he would stand out, if that is what you want. Just a suggestion. |

I don't think that it needs the extra space, but also that it does not hurt. There is enough space that it is not a distraction to me. For all the viewer knows, the dogs could be looking a squirrel a half block away. |

I am pretty good, but after I cloned in the floor, it looked worse because I could not replace the missing part of the boot. |

I tried, but the area is totally blown out, and no pixels to darken. |

It does look like the front dog is having a bad hair day. The image was a good find. I think conversion to mono is a good choice as the dogs are mostly white, and conversion simplifies the image. The dog's hair adds to the image, as it is kind of unusual. The composition is very good. |

Interesting image of the lions. I am glad that you flipped it, and the second crop is better, after I saw the person in the original. Once I saw him, I can not stop seeing him. It is a good subject for monochrome. |

What a great find. Converting to mono is the way to go, to get rid of all of the distraction behind them. I think that your crop is good, and the binder is not a distraction. My eye goes straight to the eyes of the tall mannequin. |

The lily pads have a really nice pattern to them. You have a good reflection of the lily below it, which is adding to the image. I am not familiar with water lilies, but it looks like you might have lost some detail in the flower (if water lilies have detail in the petals.) The flower appears blue on my monitor, and when I converted to grey scale, the blue goes away. |

You captured the storm. Glad that you were not hurt by the wave. The original is so monochromatic, that I like the mono better, and think that it shows the gloom better. I would crop off the windmill and other structure on the right side. My eye keeps going toward them, and I don't think that they add to the image. Original 2 has some really nice colors in it. |

He might be a little soft. F8 might not have had quite enough depth of field. The location in the old Fort Worth stockyards was a really great one. Since we were able to use natural lighting, several photographers could take photos at the same time. |

An internet search says, "Cowboys have worn leather cuffs for generations to protect their wrists, forearms, and shirtsleeves from injury or damage caused by ropes, branding irons, brush, wire fencing, and other hazards inherent to their lifestyle." |
