Adding the birds really adds to this great sunset. |

Great image, with the smoke and the red pickup. You would have a stronger image if you cloned out the red truck behind the red pickup (or made it black or grey). |

Really great image. U need to try focus stacking. The image really jumps off the screen. |

That is an interesting idea! I will need to work on that. |

This is a repeating pattern shot. The image was really monochromatic (tans) so converting to B&W was a good choice. The empty barrel at the center top makes a strong center of interest. A diagonal as Stephen suggested would be another option. |

Your image really tells the story of all of the fires. I like the sun peaking through on the left side. |

The HDR image looks very natural, and has great tonal range. I like the logs in the foregound to add depth. The nice clouds and blue sky help make the image. The dark rock area in the center makes a strong center of interest. Nit picking, but I would crop off the partial green grass area in the bottom left. |

Interesting image with the pyramid in the lake. The boat wake adds a lot to the image. I think that you would have a stronger image if you cropped off the sun lite trees at the top. You do not need all the trees -- the real subject is the lake and the great reflected trees. |

Those are really big magnificent trees. The bench is hard to see because it is so small compared to the trees. You captured them very well. A small improvement would be to clone out the small bush in the lower left. It is drawing my eye from the big trees. |

What a great image of the classic old airplane. It is very sharp from edge to edge. I really don't have any suggestions to improve it. |

Changing the background to improve an image is, to me a good way to improve it. Of course you could not do this in the Nature division. This is a really great image of the unusual animal, and him (or her) looking back is great composition. |

Beautiful old camera. I have one similar, but it took BIG rolls of film. The image looks a bit soft to me. |

Interesting image with the pyramid in the back ground. I would crop on the right side almost back to the pyramid to get rid of some of the sky. Otherwise, I like it as it is. You have good blacks and whites and the pyramid being hazy adds to the story. |

The front orchid is very sharp, and the others are out of focus enough not to be a distraction. The blurred back ground is very good. I would not darken it, as then the darker flower would not stand out from it as well. |

The beard is very striking. Glad that you got rid of the red around him and went to mono. I think that this one is very good and the pose is very good. The lighting is good for the subject. |

What a great capture, and thanks for sharing it and the story with us. I agree with eye level being better. It is better for people also, eye level is the best. |
