7 Dec 19 Reply Very good improvement, and now the tree on the left seems to have a base. Dec 17th
7 Dec 19 Reply I agree with the road needing to be darker. However, about taking the photo from a different spot, there were no other openings to get both the bridge and mill. Maybe we need to get more into drone photography and take an image from better locations than we can walk to. Dec 16th
7 Dec 19 Reply Thanks for your comments, yes the lower right could have been darkened to help the image. I did not see that. Also, I will say that flipping an image can sometimes really help the composition of an image. Dec 14th
7 Dec 19 Comment Very pretty sunrise. Besides your corrections, I would crop off the left side to get rid of the partial tree. Large areas of trees without a base are usually a distracting element. Dec 14th
7 Dec 19 Comment An interesting building and car. I am glad that you straightened it and added some detail in the garage area. I wish that you had left some of the nice greens that are in the original. To me, it makes a good contrast with the old building and car. Without knowing what you are trying to accomplish, it is hard to make suggestions. Dec 13th
7 Dec 19 Comment Interesting images. Dec 13th
7 Dec 19 Comment Interesting place. The red chair looks too good to be among all of the other decay. You did a really good job of capturing this location. My suggestion would be to crop off the bright window at the top. My eye is drawn up to it. Dec 13th
7 Dec 19 Comment Great image, and I totally agree with what Paul said, about the background blur. The lighting is really good. I might say that his face is a bit dark, but it looks natural and you can see the details in it. I would not change a thing about the image. Dec 13th
7 Dec 19 Comment A very impressive building. Straight on is not always good composition, but in the case, I think it works because of the building. There is some pincousing of the image probably because of the wide angle view. However, when I tried to correct it, the areas to the sides of the building went away and it even took out part of the building. So, I can live with the distortion. The nice sky adds to the image. 32 Dec 19 Reply Rick, Thanks for your comments. I had not thought of using Hue-Saturation under the B&W conversion. Your image is really quite striking. Dec 18th
32 Dec 19 Comment Good choice for monochrome, since there was so little color in the original. You said not to suggest cropping, but I would crop some off the top to get rid of the white sky area. My eye goes straight up to it. Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Comment Using monochrome is a good choice so that it does not look like a snap shot. Cute shot for the family of the attractive young women. Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Comment Very interesting story. I like the photo, and the bright spots add to the image so that it is not too flat looking. Not sure if having an apple in the image is the best choice. Did you try a similar image with the knife coming out of the leather holder? Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Comment The image looks good on my monitor. I would not crop off on the left, because I like the chapel being off center. I like both the color and the monochrome. Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Comment Nice image, and going to monochrome is a good choice, as the colors distract from the story. I like the darkening that Michael did, and the straightning that Stephen did. The darker background has nice texture in it. Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Comment Very striking with the tower in the center, and the post or support going straight up to it. I like what Stephen did, to get rid of some of the distortion, but leaving some there. Dec 11th
32 Dec 19 Reply Thanks for your comments. Yes, the engine was using it whistle. Dec 10th

36 Dec 19 Comment I would leave it alone. The wide angle is great and shows the beautiful area. The colors are great. Dec 18th
