I like the tones of the original image better. It speaks to me as more old barrels. This was a good find and capture. I like the crop and showing more detail in the top of the barrels that you added. |

I like the change in color. I would clone out the buoy on the left, as to me it distracts from the boat. I agree with Barbara that cutting of the mast leaves my eye looking for it. |

A great job of capturing this beautiful phenomenon. I like the detail in the rocks. Like Barbara, I think that the water spray is over sharpened. |

A really nice sharp image. It is sad to see the one hummingbird hurt, but I am glad to hear that he flew away. A great story telling nature image. Thanks for sharing with us. |

Very striking image with lots of impact. It is nice and sharp and well placed within the frame. Some photographers would like to see the stem instead of just the free floating flower. The lighting is great. |

You did a really nice job of photographing glass bottles. The lighting is very good. The wood texture behind the bottles is good. The problem is that the bottles in a row lacks interest. |

Having his surroundings adds to the story. I would not try to crop them out. Did you use camera raw for you capture? If so, you should be able to adjust the highlights to get rid of the bright areas unless they were blown out. Flash would have put shadows behind him and not looked good to me. Diana's crop gets rid of the bright board which really helps the image. |

The bison was a city wide way for the Nature Conservancy to raise money. They put them all over the city and they were colored by the different organizations and voting was done (for donations) to select the best. Most places do not worry about having the best locations for photographers. |

Interesting image with the people all doing different things. The man with the camera really makes this image. Cutting off the top of the frame does not bother me. A bit more contrast may help the image, but I like it. |

Interesting image, and conversion to monochrome is a good choice. You really brought out the clouds. The horizon did not bother me until I read the other comments. The woman on the front of the boat had all my attention. It did appear over sharp, and when I see Diana's comments I know why. The white halos are a distraction. That said, it is overall a good image. |

Very interesting old gazebo. I think that you captured it very well. I really like what Jennifer did to the image. Your monochrome looks kind of grey. |

To me, the image lacks sharpness. Your conversion to monochrome is very good. Because of all of the black in the image, you need a white or grey stroke around the image to separate it from the black background. The older woman's eyes should be looking at the younger woman. I also think that you have the problem of 2 subjects that is not good composition. The 2 are not connected since both sets of eyes are not looking at each other. |

Yes, thank you. Getting rid of the tracks would be good and easy. |

As I remember, I was moving from inside to outside and forgot to change my ISO. No, I do not usually use ISO 800 outdoors unless it is a sporting event and I need the shutter speed. ISO 200 is more normal for me for outdoors. |
