I must have done it just about right. Tony wants the train darker, and Rich wants it lighter! |

Your patience was rewarded with a very nice image. I like that the eagle is looking at you. The eagle is also very sharp from front to back. I cropped in some, to use the large limb as a base, and cleaned up some of the small branches, especially the ones that are out of focus. |

Tony, your early morning rise was well worth it. This is a really stunning image. I may have over done it, but I am wondering if you should open up the shadows in the foreground some. I used shadows and highlights. |

To me, this is kind of a busy image. I think that you should crop in some more on the ducks, or crop off some on both sides to make it more of a portrait frame, to again make the ducks more prominent. |

The image made a very nice greeting card. The small blurry area just right of the center is a distraction. I would clone in some pine nettles to replace it. |

If you are in an area like Western Oklahoma, that has few trees, then birds land on fences and electric wires. The way that I read then new nature rules, the bird on a man made object like that would be acceptable, but some judges would still DQ it. |

The brick patterns do not bother me. You did a good job of converting to monochrome. I would leave a little more "head" room to the buildings and not have cropped them so close to the top of the frame. |

I wold have had to make the trees lighter in the conversion to monochrome, which I did not want to do. |

The bird looking back at you adds interest to the image. I agree with Janice that a bit more room in front of the bird would be good. You have a very sharp image of the bird, and even have a catch light in his eye that always helps an image. You need to look at the nature rules again. A wild animal sitting on a man made item is now acceptable. However, some judges still may not like it. |

It is an interesting abstract, but I do not like pictorial images that you need to be told what they are. |

The image that you used is much better. Randy leaning into the image (and his mean look) adds a lot to the image. There is enough separation on his shoulder to see the separation, so I would not worry about it. |

I had to come back and look at the group. I really like the composition of the small stream making a lead in line, and then curving back to the barn. The sky is really great. |
