37 Apr 25 Comment Good color and detail, Ricarda. I like the square crop for this image.

To the best of my knowledge, the lily pads are not flowers but leaves. I was just reading that the giant lily pad can hold up to 100 pounds

37 Apr 25 Comment Wow, field seems to go on forever, beautiful landscape image. Your low perspective is well done and draws my eye into and through the image. Apr 25th
37 Apr 25 Reply Thanks for your comments, Kathy. See my reply to Ricarda on what's in front of him. Apr 25th
37 Apr 25 Reply Thanks for your comments, Ricarda, there was a railing in front of him and because of the long lens and shallow depth of field, it does not totally appear. I did not take the time to remove it. Apr 25th

37 Apr 25 Comment Wonderful capture of this peak of action shot. You froze it at exactly the right moment of maximum impact. Great color and detail. I spend a lot of time trying to accomplish this so I know how difficult the capture is.
What camera, lens and settings did you use?

37 Apr 25 Comment Wonderful capture, Kathy. The angle and perspective are great. And everyone's comments are right on. I was inspired to play with this terrific image for just a few minutes in Photoshop. I expanded the canvas to a 16 x 9, and (nitpicking) got rid of some wires that appear when you enlarge the image. I also opened up the shadows on the building just a bit to bring out the great detail and darkened the sky and the golden color of the setting sun. Your thoughts? Apr 25th
37 Apr 25 Comment you did a wonderful job with the cherries. They are lit perfectly; color is great and nice and sharp. The bananas are a good color contrast and provide a background without overpowering the main subject. Apr 25th

90 Apr 25 Comment Nice, detailed image Richard. I wonder if a 16 x 9 crop might improve this picture. Apr 25th
90 Apr 25 Comment Wow, super sharp with great color and detail for such small creatures. Great capture. Apr 25th
90 Apr 25 Comment Love the expression on this monkey Frans. Nice and sharp with great color and detail. Image does a wonderful job of showing the environment. Apr 25th

90 Apr 25 Comment Nice sharp image, Ginny. I tried to find one of these Jays on my last trip to Florida, but they eluded me. It would be good if you could darken the white spots in the background a bit as they are the lightest and brightest part of the image and attract the eye. Apr 25th
