I like the concept you accomplished. I took the liberty of doing a little editing in Lightroom, First by making a 1 to 1 crop as I do not think the extra leaves add anything to the image. I added a little contrast, texture and clarity to the image. I then exported to Photoshop and used the generative expand to put the top of the bud back. What do you think? |

Thanks for your input. I do put my wildlife images in nature competition, where the rules are that you cannot change or remove objects from photos. |

Great capture of the bird in flight and the interactions between them. It's unfortunate that the color of the dirt in the background is so close to the birds' colors. You might try selecting the birds in Lightroom or Photoshop camera raw and playing with the texture and clarity a bit to see if you can get some more saturation and separation. |

the idea of this image is very good. I'm hungry just looking at it. I especially like the detail and contrast in the blue cloth. I agree with the others on ideas for improvement. |

Terrific shot with great color and detail. Much more than a "bird on a stick". |

Wonderful peak of the action shot. I like the crop just the way you have it. I agree with Nap that a little more contrast would make it even better. |
