The shutter speed was determined by the camera as I was in A mode. I was shooting hand held on a bright sunny day. |

Nicely seen and captured Nap. the color of the sky in contrast with the boats is wonderful. I don't mind the tree branches because they create a frame, and it would be difficult to remove them and keep the reflections right. If you know how, I might recommend removing the speedboat in the water as it is cut in half by the sailboats mask and does not add to the image. |

Nice silhouette Bob. I might recommend that you put a 2 or 3 pixel stroke around the image to we know where the picture ends and the background begins. You can do this easily in Photoshop by selecting the entire image and going to edit, stroke, pick the color and the number of pixels and make sure inside is checked. Then deselect and you are done. |

Great implementation of a good idea. Really clever. To make this image even better, I would take down the whites in the bowl just a bit and brighten the floating corn just a bit. |

Good attempt at capturing a white bird which is often difficult. The bird is reasonably sharp, I agree that an f 5.6 or so would help give a faster shutter speed and sharpen it up a bit. Also, because of the position of the sun, you have some feathers blown out on top. |

Good job capturing the blackbird singing with his wings spread. Background is nice and muted. I would recommend pushing the blacks a bit darker throughout. I agree with the others that the tighter crop helps. |
