Nice sharp image with good color and detail. Your camera settings were right on to get the water to look really good. Do you have any more image to the right? The close crop is a little startling to my eye. |

Wonderful peak of the action shot, Peter. Your camera settings were perfect. Just a little nit pick, the barrel is the brightest part of the image and attracts my eye. I might recommend you tone it down a bit. You might also brighten the riders face just a bit. |

I think your choice of monochrome is right for this image. I agree with Bob's comments. I would recommend that you play with pushing the ISO much higher as your camera should be able to handle it without a problem. There are a couple of really good noise reduction programs like Topaz Photo AI and my new favorite DXO PureRAW 3. You can get a free 30 day trial of the completely functional program from DXO to experiment with. I have been pushing my camera up to 25,600 and obtained great images. |

Wonderful image Peter. I love the colors and the foreboding clouds. I think your edit and Lee Ann's are two different interpretations and both are good. I think there is enough detail in the clouds to leave them in. I agree that you could remove the bits of the trees at the bottom. |
