37 Oct 23 Comment Wonderful peak of the action shot, Peter. Your camera settings were perfect. Just a little nit pick, the barrel is the brightest part of the image and attracts my eye. I might recommend you tone it down a bit. You might also brighten the riders face just a bit. Oct 21st

37 Oct 23 Comment I think your choice of monochrome is right for this image. I agree with Bob's comments. I would recommend that you play with pushing the ISO much higher as your camera should be able to handle it without a problem. There are a couple of really good noise reduction programs like Topaz Photo AI and my new favorite DXO PureRAW 3. You can get a free 30 day trial of the completely functional program from DXO to experiment with. I have been pushing my camera up to 25,600 and obtained great images. Oct 21st
37 Oct 23 Comment Wonderful image Peter. I love the colors and the foreboding clouds. I think your edit and Lee Ann's are two different interpretations and both are good. I think there is enough detail in the clouds to leave them in. I agree that you could remove the bits of the trees at the bottom. Oct 21st
