Welcome to group 37. What camera are you using? I was just in the area recently and got many shots of these interesting birds. Good color and detail. I might recommend going back into Lightroom and select the bird and brighten a bit. Also depending on how much cropping you did and how much you downsized it would let me know if it could be resized and recropped.		 Mar 11th

There are many programs including Photoshop that have filters that would help you create an abstract out of this image. I also don't see much difference between the two images. Mar 11th

37 Mar 23 Comment Nice and sharp with great color and detail. You did a great job keeping detail in the white body, not an easy task. You might want to try to crop in from the right, almost to the end of the tail. That would get rid of most of the dark stripe. I agree with Lee Ann, that a little catchlight would help if you are not entering into a nature category. Mar 11th
