Just FYI, here is what a jack-in-the-pulpit usually looks like. One can see how the name was chosen. |

Glenn: They ask the same questions of Jackson Pollack. Sometimes it is just art. Thanks. |

Simply a beautiful, human image exceptionally well caught and presented. This is a magazine-cover shot that deserves full appreciation. |

Colorful and pleasing image, Glenn. Title would have to be author's label, since I believe the plant is actually an anthurium and Jack-in-the-Pulpit is a different critter. Shame on St. Louis if they mislabeled it. Also, the lovely leaf to the right competes enough to make the image almost a two-parter with the viewer left to decide which element to look at. Each, however, is very pleasing. |

Such a good bug presented here. If only the background did not so greatly compete with the main subject. It might benefit from good crop, cone-down, and curves adjustments. |

Spooky and fun, Peter. Halloween just past, this has throw-back feelings to all the events of then. Well caught, composed, presented. "The Ghost of Diesels Past." |

Nice use of time, technique, and lighting. Much of interest here to study and enjoy. One wonders if the basic bridge could be isolated and then a train blended in later also, with or without a motion freeze. Thanks. It was fun. |

Interesting, John. At least in my humble brain it lacks a center of interest or a message, but the post-processing is intriguing and stimulates thought of what else one might do with it on a more engaging subject. |
