Thanks. Original image with metadata can't be located right now, but this is a tree. In this case it was growing up from below the road so the flowers were at eye level, fortunately. Best guess from similar shots is 300 mm, f/11, ISO 400, 1/125. |

Thanks for the kind words. I just ran-selected the borders and inverted the result to select for the background, then filled with black, all in Photoshop. |

It has a rather eerie feel to it, and at times one forgets that it is a vertical subject, almost becoming flattened into an aerial view. Most intriguing to the eye and the mind. Good patience awaiting the moment. I feel my arms getting tired. This is when crouching with elbows on the thighs becomes the portable tripod. Kudos on your accomplishment and composition. |

Another stellar bird image from the master. Such great capture of such a challenging subject. Excellent work. I'm once again amazed at the clarity with such a relatively slow shutter. |

Fun use of modern photo tech. I would worry if the sky became any more full without more tonal variety, but the skills and thoughts are engaging. Almost beyond the experience of even those of us who have lived there also. Good work! |

Wonderfully composed and framed, and a remarkable human interest image. Slight contact on the left but that's not a big detractor. I blocked the big sign in the front and liked it as much also, but that lost a few good elements. Very Norman Rockwellian. |

Getting a little cranky, Joe? A new twist on the prior themes. A good handle on the occasion. One good turn I am sure deserves another. Thanks for the chance to humiliate myself again. Elegant simplicity.
