Here are the nests I mentioned for Glenn's bird. Not a great shot but you get the idea. |

Peter: Thanks. Though perhaps a bit intense, the background blue is common at western USA altitudes. Come visit. |

In trying to avoid the often over-sharpening problem we sometimes see on this site, I guess I underestimated the result, Mr. Pal. I did get what I wanted on the animal, however. |

Great bird image. If one has not seen this bird before, it is a special treat. Their nests are also entertaining, in that they are long hanging baskets that sway in the breeze in rather close proximity to one another. One is left wondering how they are created. Excellent presentation. |

Welcome to Mr. Pal. Very enjoyable portrait with wise management. Background is quite distractingly bright but that is a small quibble. Extraordinarily sharp and with good personality. |

Good opportunity. As to Mr. Pal's comment, wildlife close-ups generally are rated on naturalness and face/eye sharpness, ignoring many other lesser sharpness and composition elements. This one does well at that. That said, I'm not sure about the foggy vignette. |

Pleasing capture of two ladies engaged in fanciful interchange. There is a different story here for every viewer. |

Lovely dream image for any man in his second childhood. Nicely captured and presented. Could have hoped the driver's side window could have been dropped, but that is another dream. |

How interesting a rather ordinary subject can become with a little weathering and time. |
