Wonderfully artful and exciting image, and with good description of the technique required to present it. Good craftsmanship.
If only if only if only that right hand had cooperated. But it is almost ignorable. |

Thanks to all who replied. They were given this shortly after their wedding. "Let them eat cake!" |

Again, I am duly impressed with not only the technique but also with the remarkable happening of two birds so close together. Not their usual habit. Scores 9.9/10 only because of the softness of the wing of the bird in the back, but that was hardly worth saying. Wonderful capture. |

Fun chasing dragonflies. They seem to choose a single perch and, though leaving it regularly, always want to return to the same. Regrettably, in this case, could not choose a spot with a less distracting background, but the insect is nicely sharp and struggles with some success to maintain dominance. |

A lot of interest and fun here. Makes me wonder which of the subjects on the left taught the other to be assertive and irritable. Background is rather distracting, but filling the space with the shirt minimized it over what would have happened if there had been a mixture of shirt and many other vertical elements. The animals retain the attention of the viewer well enough. Interesting to compare similarities between hairstyles of woman and beast. |

Interesting scene well handled. Center of interest is elusive, but still has appeal. Technical challenges are quite well met. More cranes than a wildlife preserve. |

It's a really pleasing image, and I admire your obtaining it. I confess that I am bothered artistically by the feeling that the image suffers from being divided in the middle by the background and the centering of the people. I cropped the (R) side generously and the discomfort largely subsided. Cropping the (L) did not yield the same ease. Technically, however, it is quite superb otherwise. |
