Well, John, at least they gave you the courtesy of a hyphen. We all struggle to preserve our dignity and self-esteem {:-))> |

Ursula: I wrestled with the pink leaf and tried it with and without. I left it in so folks could expound upon it. |

Intriguing image. One always wonders how they manage to make it so wonderfully neat and geometric and free of glaring human influence. Monochrome is the perfect medium to maintain attention to the intent of the creation. Good capture and presentation. Different angles would be equally engaging, I am sure. |

Lovely place, Ursula. If a filter, I would always suggest a polarizer in higher altitude scenes, almost routinely. It is a pleasant image. Oddly, I kept wishing I could rotate the fence line into a more diagonal to add some verve to a rather bland scene, but it is technically extremely well seized and shown. Maybe a slight tilt to the left is noted? |

Quite a pleasing image, even to a Floridian accustomed to what would otherwise be unique to others. Post-processing clearly contributes well. As I viewed the image and cropped off much of the left side, I saw a different, but not a better image come to life. The environment does add something good. Very nicely caught and given. |

This is great human interest and feeling engaged into intriguing and contributing surroundings. I really enjoy all the story-telling it engenders. The boy is marvelous. The train is stimulating.
BTW, is a "first class ticket holder" himself first class, or is it the ticket that is; or just a comment on how well one is retaining the ticket? And is the door locked only for the holder and open for all others?
(Sorry...I'm a bit odd much of the time). |

Another pipe dream! Despite the fact that we have seen many, each has been unique and very well caught and presented. I can't help noting that the departing pipe diagonal to the left is a distraction, but overall it is a good addition to your set. I can't help but wonder if you were locked in overnight. Interesting stuff. |

Fun, indeed. A shame to critique the many upstagings and better to enjoy the moment. The local camera club approach would probably be to categorize it as Photojournalism, thereby forgiving much of the clutter. Makes one wish he had been there. |
