I think you are right. Hand-held HDR made that an impossible dream. |

Dolores: I have to confess that the more I studied it the less I liked it, and only because the scene and model were becoming increasingly artificial to me. And that's the problem with art -- it is all in what the observer sees and feels. Maybe if I coned down on the figure, I thought, but then the fact of its being what it is would be even more on my consciousness. So clearly, the fault is in me on this one. |

Love it to death. Wonderful scene perfectly presented. Worthy of being on anybody's wall anywhere. Thanks. I think one could walk around this scene and shoot a lot of different views with other impressive results as well. |

The mistiness is surely part of the image's appeal. It is, like mood, a way of influencing the viewer's incorporation. Very nice work and a great eye for composition and presentation. Shutter speed must have been very slow to have blended the water in the wheel so fully. Almost seems like a smooth tread. |

Nicest of the series thus far, I think. Faucets can be such a turn-on. Very enjoyable. |

Lovely artistic image. We are so fortunate to be able to find and capture beauty to preserve and share. And your effort is a wonderful reflection on you. And as for Dolores' remark, I had two mails to you rejected before one finally got through. |

Thanks, Glenn. It was a experiment. Location is up the road through the mountains toward Heber City in the Wasatch. The sharpening effect sometimes is enhanced by the slight mismatch in blending images from hand-held shots. |
