17 Jan 17 Reply Here's what I was feeling about this. Jan 11th
17 Jan 17 Comment I like it a lot also. Can't help thinking that the (R) wing detail could be improved, but the capture and the action are great. Jan 11th
17 Jan 17 Reply I think I like that even better. Jan 11th
17 Jan 17 Reply Thanks, Joe. As a bigger image, the lack of sharpness induced by the platform motion is more disturbing. It was a scene with lots of opportunity, granted. Jan 7th
17 Jan 17 Comment Soft and sweet. Very nice scene. Maybe it is my laptop, but I can't help wishing the contrast was tweaked a bit to define the water from the shore and jazz the sky some. And lose a little of the misty corners. But maybe you didn't want to say that. Soothing mood. Lovely.

17 Jan 17 Comment Intriguing. Not sure if it could be any better, except possibly with a different orientation of the "ghost" either ascending or descending the stairs. High accomplishment in the lab, for sure. Jan 5th
17 Jan 17 Comment Agree with Dolores and her modification. Such a great scene, and now the elements are well handled, not suggesting the accident of timing that leaves the shadows that might have been gone at another time. I might even consider dialing down the brightness to see if more detail would jump out. Quite outstanding as is, though, to be sure. Jan 5th
17 Jan 17 Comment Glenn: Great scene well caught. If I were to do anything to possibly improve it, it would be to take off some sky. It would do three good things: (1) take the photo out of a "half and half" arrangement; (2) make it more panorama-like; and (3) break it into traditional thirds.
Rule of skies is if great, use them big time; if not, minimize them. Why we bald men wear hats.
And, still admiring it, I agree about the signature. It begs the "camera club" message that it isn't about the photo, it's about the maker.
