17 Feb 25 Comment I like this. We have the action of the baseball game and then the background gives us the setting. You could call it a picture of two halves, the players and the adverts. for me the adverts do tend to dominate, but that is the idea I suppose, to get the message across to the spectators. You caught a good moment in the game with the ball streaking through the air to the batsman. Feb 14th
17 Feb 25 Comment I had to do a double take at this picture first of all, before I read the description. Like Glenn, I first thought it was snow but the tree has all its leaves. I like the fact you took it as the sun was rising, it has given a good colour to the sky. Well composed. Feb 14th
17 Feb 25 Comment What a great idea. Your decision to leave the Phonograph trumpet in colour and the rest of the picture in monochrome makes it stand out. I should imagine the colours in the background would be quite distracting. Maybe blur the background a touch as Sheldon suggests. Feb 14th

19 Feb 25 Comment I like the composition with the two figures. The gates give the impression of them being worlds apart and you are left to wonder what is beyond the gate. Lots of great colour and detail. Feb 15th
19 Feb 25 Comment I like this it makes me smile. Humour in pictures appeals to me. I think it works well in monochrome, but you do mention that it is colourful, I am then left to wonder what a colour version would look like. Feb 15th
19 Feb 25 Comment I like pictures like this, with lots of detail for my eye to wander over. I think you have chosen a good angle to take the picture and I like all the colours, with some of the houses in a similar colour to the left hand mountainside. Feb 15th
