17 Oct 23 Comment This shows how wonderfully camouflaged this animal is.You have caught a great moment as the Leopard makes a leap. I think Laura's alterations help the picture. Oct 15th
17 Oct 23 Comment I am a sucker for anything to do with steam locomotives. This is a challenging environment in which to take a photograph. Lots of bark metal with lots of interesting shapes and then the brightness and contrasting colour of the firebox.I like it just the way it is, and I like the inclusion of the engineer or fireman on this side of the 'Pond' Oct 15th
17 Oct 23 Comment So simple and so artistic. The effect you have added really makes this something different. Oct 15th
17 Oct 23 Comment A well chosen time of day to take this. I like the inclusion of the moon and the artificial lighting of the bridge. It is also a nice angle from which to take the picture. Oct 15th
17 Oct 23 Comment A nice record of the work of art. Always difficult to frame a subject like this to please everyone. The background gives us the location, but it does compete with the quilt. I did not see the stain until I saw Laura's comment. Oct 15th
17 Oct 23 Reply Thanks for the suggestion Laura. I had not thought about the grasses being soft. There was a strong wind blowing at the time I took the picture. Oct 15th

19 Oct 23 Reply Thanks Stan, a step to the right and I would have got my feet wet. But the roof of the chapel does look a bit sloping. and I never noticed the bucket. Oct 25th
19 Oct 23 Comment This works for me. You have caught a moment and then made an appealing picture of it. The liquid colour is good as its density allows us to see the action in the glass, a darker liquid would maybe not show so well. Oct 15th
19 Oct 23 Comment I like things like this. A few simple shapes and shadows. My first thought was what would it be like in monochrome, but I feel that colour is the right way to go.I like the angle you have taken it at. Well scene and well done. Oct 15th
19 Oct 23 Comment A well caught moment in the action. I know it can be difficult in the heat of the moment but maybe a bit more of the horses legs and hooves might have been nice. Oct 15th
19 Oct 23 Comment A dramatic moment when the peacock spreads its feathers, well caught. Oct 15th
19 Oct 23 Comment Your series of monochrome still life's are quite enchanting. I like this one. The mono suits the simple subject and the lighting is well controlled. I like the petals that have fallen in the foreground. Oct 15th
