I really like the atmosphere you have captured. That mist skimming the surface is superb. Right time , right place with this one. The time of year has given some great colour to the scene. |

I recall seeing Salisbury Crags on the skyline during visits to Edinburgh. I did not get this close. I do agree with Sheldons work on the sky. What a great view you had from your accomodation. |

At last somewhere that I recognise. We visited Nova Scotia about 10 years ago. We drove from Halifax to Peggys Cove early one morning before the Tour Buses arrived and it was quite quiet. I like the small section that you have selected for your picture. I do not remember the wreck, but it may have been in situ. |

I like your choice of converting to monochrome, and I agree with Joe about the Ansel Adams style to it. I like the picture as you have presented it. |

An interesting picture. I like the vivid blue, and the trailing whatever they are called. |

A good variation on last months picture. I like both, or though if pushed I would go for this version.I just like the cheerfulness of the picture, well seen. |

It is always worth keeping an eye out for potential pictures when travelling. On this occasion I think you have a good subject but time of day and light are against you. I would also go with a crop of the sky, as I feel this makes the picture stronger. Also have you pondered a contrasty mono conversion. |

It always intrigues me to see the results of someones imagination it taking pictures where most would walk by without a second look. This is very simple but we have a pattern and that is created by the careful use of depth of field. Well done. |

It always pays to look up in these places. Your effort it crouching down has paid off with a nice composition and picture of the stunning art and architecture. |

Well seen. I like the tight composition around the lamps, maybe it could be tighter with a sliver off the right to take out the small patch of bright sky. That would also deal with the 'D' bottom left. |

This does make one feel a touch cold. It is well seen and the colours of the leaves work well against the starkness of the snow/ice. I like the addition of the frame. |
