17 Nov 21 Comment Peggys Cove is a great place for colourful photographs. These chairs just cry out for our attention.Although the building helps set the scene I think it is too dominant. I would take a crop just above the chairs and get rid of it.Those colours are great. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Comment Sometimes it is good to break the rules that we make for ourselves. This is one of those occasions as the whole makes a pattern as well as a picture, if that makes sense.A slight blueness to the picture, but it could be one of those days. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Comment A very pleasing result for your effort. Position in the frame is good and an excellent expression. I have to agree a bit about the books in the background although they do set the scene. Good work on the highlights. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Comment Great imagination and technique. A picture to make one think.A lot of effort went into this and it was well worth it. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Comment You have caught the flowers well and they certainly stand out from the black background.I like the way you have kept detail in the white petals. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Comment The size and position of the balloon in the picture draws ones attention, and then you see the basket skimming the lake. Alonger look at the scene and then I have to agree with Joe about the direction of the light, something does not quite seem right. Nov 13th
17 Nov 21 Reply Hi Joe I would normally agree over the feather colours, this particular bird was to be fair a bit jaded in the pink spectrum. Nov 4th

19 Nov 21 Comment I find it very difficult to capture an autumn scene such as this. We toured Nova Scotia in the fall and the colour was fantastic, but my only photographs tended to be close ups. So well done for taking a bit of a view. The leaves have changed colour but are still on the trees, giving a good background. Then we have the leafless tree forming the foreground. Nov 13th
19 Nov 21 Comment Well taken. I like the silky water of a longish exposure. This is well composed and the exposure is spot on , so simple but so nice. Nov 13th
19 Nov 21 Comment Well worth getting up for. Fabulous colours and light. The foreground boulders really add to the picture. Nov 13th
19 Nov 21 Comment I think the view and the time of day with the light is excellent. A slight tilt in the horizon I think.the inclusion of the foreground water with the silhouetted person is a bonus. Nov 13th
19 Nov 21 Comment Yet another member of your menagerie. You have obviously got Lukes attention, looking over the gate to you. For such a large blow up from the original (which I like as it is) this has come across well. I understand your desire to show the mane, but I think it still blends with the tree. You have to like him. Nov 13th
