I like the location and the viewpoint you have chosen. The HDR has given a punch to the foreground, and as others have said a bit to much on the vegetation. Did the vignette result from the wide angle of the lens. |

A place to stand and just relax, and this photograph conveys that feeling. I like the light , the colours and the reflections. But its the clouds that really do it for me. |

This appeals to me a lot. It is so sharp photographically and naturally. Monochrome makes it more of an art from than a colour version. |

I find this quite appealing, simple but with a twist. The effort put in has worked well, so well you do not see it. The idea of having the intentional movement works well. I have tried intentional movement with very moderate success but never attempted focus stacking. |

What a wonderfull building. I like all the angles and I appreciate that you must have been a touch confused as to what should be vertical, choosing the shoreline was probably the best solution. Great colour and lots of detail to look at. The white boat add balance and fills the space to the left, even though it might be a touch bright and draw the eye. I also like the gull bottom right. |

Thank you Sheldon and the others for your comments, I agree about the background, it is a bit overpowering. Also the way you have lightened the eyes works very well.

I like the position that you have caught the bird in as it lands. The bird is nice and sharp and clear. The background does not bother me. What does make me wonder is the amount of light that appears to be on the bird in an area I would of expected some shade. |

I like this in a number of ways. It is simple but well done. I like the colours and the fact you have used less than perfect blooms, the texture is more interesting. I like the classic 3 in the composition. |

A well caught picture of two people enjoying time together albeit set up. All the colours from the tattoo's to the brickwork fit together well, the expressions are great. The picture tells a story. |

A well caught moment with the bird singing away . The branches make a nice background The growing greenery tells us the time of year and sets the scene. I like the position within the frame slightly left and room in front to sing into. |

Hot Air balloons can make wonderful pictures in various ways, either flying over the landscape in large groups or singly. One of the most spectacular times for me is when a group of balloons such as this perform a dusk glow and this is just what we have here. A good location from which to shoot looking down the line. The colours are great from the inflated balloons and we have a great crowd of onlookers on the ground to add more atmosphere. |

Fabulous detail from such a large crop in the first place. A lovely portrait of Pearl, will we ever meet all of your magnificent menagerie. I agree with Norm about the post and also the contrast. I also agree that choosing to convert to monochrome was a good idea. |

I see what you are saying with a crop. The picture is actually in colour. You can see a bit of rust on the door hinges. |
