These colourful floats make for interesting pictures. I like to wander with my eye around the scene and take in the little details. everyone of those identifies a fishermans pots attached to it at sea. The faded colours help the story, time and tide having dulled the once bright colours. |

This has lots of appeal to me, the sea, clouds and great openness. It is simple and that is also its appeal. I think Joes modifications do work by giving the clouds a more stormy look and the crop on the left makes the composition better for me. |

A different picture of Santorini. Just enough of the buildings to set the scene, and then we have the donkey plodding up the steps in the foreground.Well worth revisiting the picture and doing a bit of editing. I did not notice the people until I read other comments so they cannot be that much of a distraction. |

This works well because thought and effort has gone into setting it up. The position of the subject the opening in the blinds and the light all give that important spot of light on the eyes, and that is important in telling the story. That expression on the face is excellent. |

I like the action in this picture lots of it and very dramatic. Conversion to monochrome has helped as it removes lots of eye catching colours, mainly from the 'Coors' drum I would think. I also think that the slightly darkened background of you rework is an improvement. The moment is caught well with the position of horse and rider, space to the right to move into. |

An interesting looking machine. The picture shows the front end well but leaves me wondering what the rest of it looks like. Mono is the right way for this subject. I would assume the reflectors are fitted as a modern requirement for use on the road, although the condition of the rest of the frame and tyre look a little suspect. |

A great location for your graduation shoot. I like the angle that you have chosen to take this from. The action on the tassles is good and the colours all seem to work well together. Phone lines do not bother me in this situation. |

An excellent rendition of the Robin. A frequent visitor to our garden and probably the least shy, often coming up to inspect my efforts in the garden looking for worms.I like the background it tells us it is cold and the birds feathers are fluffed up as well. A nice composition and very sharp. |

This makes me think of those sci fi films and TV programmes we used to see. An excellent result from what must have been a few hours fun. I can see why others have seen an eye. Fabulous colour combinations and I look forward to seeing some of the remaining 1099 frames that you took. |

Colourful rock with a bit of sunlight to enhance the colour. I like the foliage framing the picture.Just enough cloud in the sky. Well composed. |

The cold blue of the snow in the shade contrasts well with the colour of the Witch Hazel bursting into life. You have caught it well with the sunlight boosting the colour. I like the square format and the angular composition. I think the line top right that goes the opposite way could be cloned out it does grab the eye a touch. |
