17 Dec 20 Comment I like this in many ways , technically, compositionally and the pose is great. Mono has to be the colour for this subject. The way the gun points straight at the viewer is both clever and slightly disturbing.

17 Dec 20 Comment This is one of those images that I like to look at carefully taking in all that is going on and the little details. I like the patches of late afternoon sunlight catching the buildings. Cropping out the building on the left was a good idea. Dec 13th
17 Dec 20 Comment A part of Versailles that I have never seen mentioned before and your image makes it very interesting. I think you have done just enough work on the original to improve it without going over the top. Dec 13th
17 Dec 20 Comment Fabulous atmosphere has rendered the everyday into something other worldly.Something that has a touch of Hitchcock or Orson Welles. Dec 13th
17 Dec 20 Comment A well composed pattern of the brutal architecture. The eye is led all the way along the 'corridor', with side lighting showing the textures and the lack of colour.I feel it works well in colour, as a mono image it would need ore contrast and some of the texture would be lost. 19 Dec 20 Comment Indeed it does look like the gull is resting. A simple picture well composed. I like the fact the wind is ruffling the feathers. The conditions on the day have helped to give you detail in the white of the bird. Dec 13th
19 Dec 20 Comment The subjects are certainly looking interested. I like the colours and the story. Two things make a slight distraction but I do not think you have much choice but to include them. The person in blue and the blue motorbike catch the eye. But cropping them out will affect the dog that is also looking up like the two men. Dec 13th
19 Dec 20 Comment The work you have carried out on the original has certainly improved the image for me. I like it in mono, I like the crop and eliminating the distractions is a good move. Well done. Dec 13th
19 Dec 20 Comment This is a picture with a good composition and mono suits it. I like the format and the border you have given it. The treatment you have used has given a pleasing tone to the scene, but for me it looks excessively sharp rather than the graininess of mono film. Dec 13th
19 Dec 20 Comment These red coloured rock formations are very dramatic, particularly when combined with a blue sky. I like the way the footpath leads the eye to the subject. Dec 13th
19 Dec 20 Comment I like the dappled light on the background and the duck peeping through the foliage. A very limited colour pallette but I like it. I do think it needs to be a bit brighter or maybe a bit of punch. Dec 13th
